Eligibility
Ages 17-24
AND
Attends or is a graduate of Onalaska, Onalaska Luther or West Salem High School
OR
Lives or works full time in Onalaska or West Salem six months prior to the pageant

Preparation
The Miss Onalaska Scholarship Organization is committed to assisting each contestant to achieve their personal best. Former Miss America program local and state level participants are present for all scheduled rehearsal sessions for individualized interview, wardrobe and performance consultation. To ensure each contestant has adequate practice time, rehearsals begin in early February twice a week and run daily two weeks prior to the pageant. The program also has a moderate selection of pageant swimwear and evening wear to enhance wardrobes for very minimal rental fees.
Responsibilities
Miss Onalaska 2008 will have an exciting year filled with appearances at many area festivals and events ranging from parades and pageants to speaking engagements at schools or for civic organizations. Miss Onalaska 2008 will also be a contestant at the Miss Wisconsin Pageant in June 2009 with opportunities to earn thousands of dollars more in scholarships towards her educational pursuits.
